How we handle your data and the terms that govern our work together.
Maya Standard Web Development LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Matthew Zukowski out of Shelton, CT. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We keep things simple because we believe you have a right to know exactly what happens with your data.
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any business information you choose to share. If you create a client portal account, we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password — your actual password is never stored in readable form. Your portal account also holds invoice and project data related to your engagement with us.
When you make a payment, that transaction is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe has its own privacy policy available at stripe.com/privacy.
We use your information to respond to your inquiries, deliver the services you've hired us for, process payments through Stripe, and manage your client account. That's it. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it — ever, to anyone.
Your data is stored on our server located in Connecticut. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertising networks.
We use a small number of trusted services to run our business:
These services receive only what they need to perform their function. We do not use any advertising networks or analytics platforms.
We use session cookies to keep you logged into the client portal. These are functional cookies only — they disappear when you close your browser or log out. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any analytics tools at this time.
We hold onto your information for as long as it's needed to provide services and maintain reasonable business records. If you'd like your data deleted, just ask — we'll take care of it promptly.
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing us at [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

↑ Back to topThese Terms of Service govern your use of Maya Standard Web Development LLC's services. By hiring us or using our website, you agree to these terms. If something isn't clear, just ask — we'd rather talk it through than have a misunderstanding later.
Maya Standard Web Development LLC provides custom web design, managed website hosting, and ongoing maintenance services. The specific scope of work for your project will be agreed upon before any work begins.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit/debit cards and Apple Pay.
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before your site goes live. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started — this covers the time and resources we've already committed to your project. If a project is cancelled before work begins, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Every project includes two rounds of consolidated feedback. Please gather all your revision requests into a single list per round — this keeps the project moving efficiently and on budget.
Work that falls outside the agreed scope is billed at the following rates:
We'll always let you know before billing any overages — no surprises.
Hosting is month-to-month with no long-term contracts. If you need to cancel, just give us 30 days' written notice and we'll make sure you have everything you need to move on.
Your files are always yours. We don't lock you in. Upon cancellation or request, we'll provide you with all deliverables and assets so you can take your site wherever you'd like.
You own the final website and all its deliverables. Once the project is paid in full, everything transfers to you.
Maya Standard Web Development LLC reserves the right to display completed work in our portfolio and use it as a case study. If you'd prefer we don't, just let us know in writing — we'll respect that without question.
We take our work seriously and stand behind it, but we can't be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. In all cases, Maya Standard Web Development LLC's maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes will be handled in Connecticut courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
